phoebe was riding in her doll stroller. i asked her "phoebe, are you supposed to be riding in your doll stroller?"
phoebe: "i'm not. i'm parking."
so i look to james and ask him where does she come up with this stuff. she heard me and answered "on my table"
:)
she has a 'devilish' voice. she uses it when she's very serious or goofing around. i was trying to get her some juice out of the refridgerator last night and something fell out onto the floor. she must have thought i did a bad thing and needed to be scolded because she used her serious voice and said "MOMMY BERNDSEN!!!!!" it was so cute!
:)
i usually lay down with her for naps. at some point i attempt to get up and get some work done before she wakes. so i'm usually in the other room when she wakes. today she woke up and said "mommy, come by me!" i walk into the other room and crawl into bed to cuddle with her.
phoebe: "where did you go? why did you leave me? (ripping my heart out)"
me: "mommy was matching socks in the living room" (we had 3 freakin' bags of unmatched socks in the kids room) "what were you doing?"
phoebe: "i was napping and you left me"
:(
other hilarious facts about my kid - her favorite songs are rockin' the beer gut, poker face, boom boom pow, and anything with a whole lotta base and swear words (yikes!!!!!)
pregnancy update -
i'm so ready to be done. i've been doing things to encourage/help with labor like herbal allies drops (taste horrid), acuppressure points, walking... it's silly but there are a million reasons to have a september baby vs october. first of all, opal is an ugly birthstone. secondly, he's cooked, done, and big. his lungs are good and he's planning on spending the next 2.5 weeks packing on the pounds. third, my doctor is out of town the first week in october while my midwife is also planning a trip in october. so come out, walter, it is time!
