i cooked simply sour cream chicken enchiladas tonight. they were amazing. you can find the recipe here on my food blog.
i started them around 4pm and pulled them out five minutes after james left work. i had time to quickly wash all the dishes from my preparation, mix up brownies, put those in the oven, and wash the brownie dishes too!our dinner was wonderful. so tasty james went into a food coma on our bed, so i took charge with my 2nd wind to get phoebe ready for bed. i decided to scrub the tub and then fill it for her. she was so excited, she ripped her clothes off and was running around the house.
during her bath i prepped all her dirty diapers for the wash (yes, in the bathroom watching her the entire time). afterwards she helped me put on her diaper (she has to do the velcro tabs), rub on lotion, and put on her tinkerbell pjs. she's also getting used to the leave in conditioner and me combing her hair to help prevent that extreme perma-bedhead she usually has going on.
and while she watched her selected pic of blue's clues, i started uploading pictures from the day. she decided she wanted one with me, so uncle nick helped us out (sniff sniff, we are going to miss him so badly). and for the record, i did shower, but that was about it for preparations for the day.
nick also hung walter's bird mobile and helped me spray paint the kids wall letters. i'll have pics of all of that tomorrow since my gameplan for tomorrow is to finish the kids room (organize changing table, sort clothes, put back together walter's bedding minus his unfinished blanket, hang wall decorations).
